The March Split the Plate Partner – Druid City Pride

Druid City Pride
UUCT’S March Split-the-Plate Partner

Druid City Pride is a supportive, visible force with a strong presence as a LGBT+ organization that stands up for LGBT+ rights. Druid City Pride participants organized the first pride parade in 2014. In 2015 in addition to the parade, a gathering was held at Government Plaza.

Currently, the board of organizers is at work to obtain 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. Additionally, a sub-group for same-sex and LGBT+ supportive couples and their children, as well as, a Founders’ Circle, which offers a life membership for $100, was launched.

In commemoration of the nationwide recognition of same-sex marriages, Druid City Pride held a party/fundraiser in June, 2016. Recently, a “Contact your State Representatives” event was held along with a rally against HB24 and SB145, two bills that will discriminate against same-sex couples if adopted.

You can find Druid City Pride on the web at: and on Facebook. Checks or cash not designated for pledge or other specific needs are split with Druid City Pride. To make a 100% donation by check, envelopes are available on the foyer table. The address information is:
