There is some interest in our congregation with helping in refugee resettlement.

There is an interfaith group that grew out of the Birmingham UU church. They are working with both Afghan and other international refugees.

They have a Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/ALirp.org) and a
webpage (https://www.alirp.org/).

From the Facebook page, it says they are welcoming over 50 Afghan
families to the area and need some logistical and material support.
There is an Amazon Wishlist from which you can order needed items.
