The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) is an African-American civil rights organization founded in January 1955, following the Montgomery, AL bus boycott.\u00a0 It is closely identified with the work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.\u00a0 Our Social Justice Team works primarily with the Tuscaloosa Chapter of SCLC.\u00a0 In January of each year, we mobilize our UUCT congregation to participate in the annual M.L.
