The December Split the Plate Partner – Alabama SPCA

The Alabama SPCA: UUCT’S December Split-the-Plate Partner

The Alabama Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Alabama SPCA) is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization that is based in Tuscaloosa and serves the entire state of Alabama. The Alabama SPCA is run entirely by volunteers. You can find the most up-to- date information about their activities on Facebook and or at: http://www.alabamaspca.org.

Three main goals guide their work:
1. Establish relationships with local agencies and a network of individuals willing to provide temporary foster care for abandoned companion animals until a permanent home can be found.
2. Educate and inform the public through a variety of methods to enhance the learning and conduct of all aspects of health, care and welfare of dogs, cats and/or other animals.
3. Advocate against the needless euthanizing of abandoned pets by
promoting spay and neuter, increasing public awareness, and fostering a culture of kindness to animals. The Alabama SPCA is a No-Kill
organization and saved over 1,000 animals from high-hill Alabama
shelters last year.

Checks or cash not designated for pledge or other specific needs are split with Alabama SPCA. Donations can be made through PayPal or sent directly to the address listed below. To make a 100% donation to this organization, envelopes are available on the foyer table.
