Tuscaloosa Citizens Against Predatory Practices (T-CAPP) is a local grassroots organization advocating for statewide legislation to eliminate the predatory practices of payday lenders.  These lenders make short-term loans to low income borrowers at enormous interest rates leading to their entrapment in a spiraling circle of debt.

Since 2015 our Social Justice Team supported the efforts by Alabama Arise and Tuscaloosa Citizens Against Predatory Practices (T-CAPP) to obtain reasonable rules regarding payday loans in Alabama.
